Tyler Perry seems to be on a roll these days. After gathering a string of box office hits with his Madea movie franchise, he’s about to take on something rather different, although it’s still assured to provide some laughs to his loyal fan base, specifically the African-American community. His upcoming film, due for release on the 24th of February, seems like an appropriate release, considering it’s the month of love, and he’s brought a romantic dramedy (comedy drama) to the public’s plate. Of course, if you’re up for a little bit of emotional conflict and light hearted fun, then perhaps you should watch Good Deeds online.
When you watch Good Deeds online, you may discover that it’s more than just a romantic comedy, since the plot of it seems to take on a more serious tone, especially with a lot of people dealing with issues of infidelity and emotional confusion all over the world. In the movie, a wealthy businessman by the name of Wesley Deeds (portrayed by Perry himself) has always been on the forefront of everything, being an overachiever and getting the things that he wants with a lot of hard work and determination. He does what is expected of him, as he constantly tolerates his own brother’s lack of responsibility or awaits marriage to his long time fiancée Natalie (portrayed by Gabrielle Union). However, things take an unexpected turn for him as he comes across a beautiful yet down-on-her-luck single mother, Lindsey (Thandie Newton). He offers to provide her some assistance on getting back on her feet, yet the concept of meeting someone who is totally outside his social circle lights up a spark in him he thought never existed, allowing him to appreciate life even more, even just by performing one good deed (the whole plot of the movie and also a play on the title character’s name). Of course, with a lot of people wanting to watch Good Deeds online, this just might be another addition to Tyler Perry’s long line of box office hits under his belt.
Of course, Perry himself is already guaranteed to bring in a lot of movie audiences in their seats, but when you have acting favorites such as Thandie Newton and Gabrielle Union added to the mix, you know this movie is bound to be “top quality” in every sense of the phrase itself. The film is written and directed by Perry himself, which only goes to show his versatility as a filmmaker. The film is produced by Perry’s own Tyler Perry Studios and will be set for distribution all over movie theaters courtesy of Lionsgate on the 24th of February, 2012. Watch Good Deeds online and see a lot of familiar actors in the form of Brian White, Jamie Kennedy, Rebecca Romjin, Beverly Johnson and Phylicia Rashad, who plays Deeds’ loving mother. This movie just may either be a romantic comedy with some laughs or a hard hitting drama on society classes, but either way, you know you’re in for a satisfying, if not emotionally uplifting, movie experience.
